This page is designed to provide information on any known Availity Trading Partner transaction issues and scheduled maintenance. Availity periodically attempts to reconnect to Trading Partners and will update status of those Trading Partners when the connections are successful.

We are seeing Eligibility and Benefits Inquiry transactions failing with AAA*42 errors.
Customers are receiving AAA*42 errors.
Next Steps and ETA for resolution:
As of 7/2/2026, 3:00:00 AM we are seeing successful transactions. We are considering this issue resolved.
We have reached out to the payer to report this issue. We will continue to monitor and send updates as available.
Availity continues to monitor for resolution.
